Denise Juneau Tours VA Clinic, Outlines Priorities To Put Montana Veterans First

Press Release

Date: Aug. 24, 2016

Superintendent of Public Instruction and candidate for Montana's U.S. House seat Denise Juneau toured the Billings VA clinic today to meet with VA officials and outline her priorities to put Montana veterans first.

As Superintendent of Montana's public schools, Juneau convened the Montana Council on Educational Opportunity for Military Children to remove barriers to success for children of military families.

"Like most Montanans, I have veterans in my immediate family -- and we have a responsibility to live up to the promises we make them when they serve," Juneau said. "In Congress, I'll work to strengthen opportunities for military children and for all veterans and their families."

In Billings, Juneau outlined specific legislative initiatives to expand access to critical care, address veterans homelessness and give veterans the opportunity to own their own business.
